The U.S. Air Force has awarded a General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) subsidiary two contract modifications worth $124 million combined to support aircraft platforms used to transport high-ranking government and defense officials.
Gulfstream will provide logistics services for both the C-20 and C-37 planes under the first firm-fixed-price modification valued at $87 million, which brings the contract’s potential value to $594 million, the Defense Department said Friday.
The second award, valued at $37 million, covers engineering work on the same aircraft models and brings the maximum value of the contract to $612 million.
USAF is obligating $29.6 million on the two modifications at the time of award using fiscal 2023 operations and maintenance funds.
