An ASRC Federal subsidiary will continue to provide information technology modernization support for the Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service under a two-year, $100 million contract.
Highland Technology will build, maintain and modernize information systems, web services, software applications and databases to help NRCS provide farmers and ranchers with conservation technical and financial assistance, ASRC Federal said Wednesday.
“We are pleased to be selected once again for this contract and have every confidence that our developers and project support team will continue to advance the mission of conservation planning for farmers and ranchers across the U.S.,” said Jennifer Felix, president and CEO of ASRC Federal and a previous Wash100 awardee.
The company supports the needs of NRCS by delivering customer-centric software through the adoption of Scaled Agile Framework practices and principles.
The period of performance under the METIS ART contract with USDA’s Farm Production and Conservation Business Center will run through 2025.
