Iron Bow to Continue Air Force Comms Support Under $144M Contract

Iron Bow Technologies has received a potential four-year, $144 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to support the service’s Theater Deployable Communications program meant to provide enterprise information technology capabilities to help warfighters facilitate expeditionary communications at the tactical edge.

The company said Monday it will provide connectivity, reach-back support and TDC Agile Communications Packages, including voice and data networking services, at command and control centers, theater air bases and other deployed locations under the contract with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts.

The TDC ACPs, which will use the Defense Information Systems Agency Standardized Tactical Entry Point sites, will help extend the Department of Defense Information Networks and offer a node to back Joint All Domain Command and Control operations.

Iron Bow has supported the service’s TDC program for over a decade and has delivered tactical communications services and equipment valued at more than $100 million.
