ManTech has secured a $100 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to perform engineering and technical support work for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division to maintain the reliability of combat systems for training and live operations.
The five-year award, won through a recompete, covers configuration management, research and development, project planning and training services to ensure that the U.S. Navy’s advanced aircraft platform weapons systems comply with flight clearance requirements and aviation material readiness standards, ManTech said Tuesday.
The company will help NAWCAD translate source materials from original equipment manufacturers and the government, as well as provide fleet liaison and subject matter expertise in support of aviation training and tactics development.
“As the trusted provider of advanced solutions that ensure ultra-reliable aircraft combat systems in any scenario – whether for training or live combat – we are committed to results that drive competitive advantage for this customer,” said David Hathaway, executive vice president and general manager of the defense sector at ManTech.
