Matt Veldhuis, a 22-year veteran of Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), has joined Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX) as director of business development within the intelligence and space unit.
He will oversee requirements and capabilities related to space intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance in his new position, according to a LinkedIn post published Monday.
Veldhuis previously managed new business capture efforts for Lockheed’s energy organization for more than three years and helped the company take its GridStar Flow Long-Duration Energy Storage Flow Battery to the commercial marketplace.
Before his manager role at LM Energy, he held various positions within the rotary and mission systems, information systems and global solutions, and space businesses.
