Albers Aerospace has acquired Garrett Container Systems in a transaction aimed at expanding its capabilities in support of military customers.
GCS is a HUBZone-certified small business founded by Don and Liz Morin in 1991 and manufactures aluminum storage and shipping containers and tactical kits, Albers said Friday.
GCS will keep its operations in Accident, Maryland, as it runs as a wholly owned subsidiary of Albers.
“Garrett Container Systems is a natural addition to the growing Albers Aerospace family of companies that exist to serve the warfighter and bring essential capability to bear for our nation,” said John Albers, CEO of Albers Aerospace.
McKinney, Texas-based Albers Aerospace is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business focused on providing engineering, aviation and manufacturing support services to government and defense customers.
