Angelique Napoleon, former cyber solutions engineer at General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business, has been promoted to solutions director of homeland security and intelligence market areas under the GDIT organization.
Napoleon joined GDIT in April and has more than two decades of cybersecurity and technical support experience across the defense, space and intelligence, automotive and energy industries.
She came to General Dynamics after a short stint as a senior IT security subject matter expert for the Department of Defense.
The U.S. Air Force veteran previously led IT security divisions at IntellecTechs, Synchron and the U.S. subsidiary of Elbit Systems (Nasdaq: ESLT).
From 2013 to 2016, Napoleon worked at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), initially as senior information system security engineer for the special operations wing and eventually became part of Lockheed’s cyber inside team focusing on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program.
She also held systems engineering roles at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) and served as an information assurance lead at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems.
While at the Air Force, she provided support to the branch’s Battle Management/Command and Control Early Warning Reporting System.
