Core4ce Books $173M Navy Health IT Engineering Support Contract; Jack Wilmer Quoted

Core4ce will provide health information technology services to the Medical Corps of the U.S. Navy and the Defense Health Agency under a $173 million contract from Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic.

The Defense Health Infrastructure and Application Engineering contract marks the company’s third major NIWC award and includes support to organizations that will be integrated into the Medical Community of Interest network jointly managed by Navy Medicine and DHA, Core4ce said Wednesday.

In 2021, NIWC granted the company a $171 million contract to provide desktop virtualization and enterprise application services and another $129 million to lead a health IT engineering project focused on creating and securing servers at military treatment facilities.

Jack Wilmer, Core4ce CEO, said the additional work has positioned the company as a provider of health cybersecurity and engineering services to the Department of Defense.

“This award marks a continuation of our partnership with NIWC Atlantic as we work to transform the way DoD keeps sensitive medical data and networks secure.”
