The U.S. Army has issued a solicitation for the second iteration of a potential five-year, $975 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for mission command training and technical support services.
Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II is a multiple-award task order contract with four task areas, according to a notice published Friday.
Training and technical and communications are the two primary task areas, while the supporting task areas are plans and operations and logistics, according to the performance work statement.
The training task area for the MTCCS II IDIQ contract includes collective, leader and individual training, database support, multiechelon training and virtual, constructive and gaming support.
Under the technical and communications task area, the contractor should provide wide area network and local area network support, cybersecurity, mission command and enterprise client support.
The plans and operations aspect covers help desk operations, knowledge management, emerging technologies and training aids, devices and simulations.
Facility maintenance and equipment accountability, physical security and task order management are under the logistics task area.
In August 2021, the Army initiated a market research for the MTCCS II program.
Proposals are due Nov. 22.
