Phillips, a six-time Wash100 Award recipient, will lead ManTech’s post-acquisition board of directors as chairman, the company said Monday.

Tait is a U.S. Navy veteran who joined ManTech in 2018 after an almost 25-year career at Accenture, where he previously served as senior managing director of defense business.

In his previous position, Tait played a key role in the realignment of ManTech’s intelligence, federal civilian and defense businesses under its digital transformation strategy.

The company went private upon the Sept. 14 completion of its sale and after two decades of trading as a public company on the Nasdaq.

ManTech’s nine-member board of directors includes Carlyle managing directors Dayne Baird, Brian Bernasek and Ian Fujiyama.
