Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) will provide technical and program support to the Federal Highway Administration’s policy and governmental affairs office under a potential five-year, $60 million blanket purchase agreement with the Department of Transportation.

The company said Tuesday the multiple-award BPA has a base performance period of five years and an option term of six months and includes support for the development of highway and intergovernmental policy positions.

Leidos will also help FHWA improve its strategic plan and performance management procedures and assess investment’s impact on transportation and the economy to inform consultation services on demand modeling and data acquisition.

“We look forward to working with the FHWA on this program to provide support in assessing data and increasing safety on our roads,” said Fran Hill, senior vice president of transportation solutions at Leidos.

“This win reinforces our capabilities to provide critical, mission-focused policy support,” she added.

The company also provides support to the office of operations and office of safety at FHWA.
