Allen Couture, a 10-year veteran of Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX), will formally join Mercury Systems (Nasdaq: MRCY) on Oct. 3 to serve as senior vice president of execution excellence.
He will be responsible for overseeing engineering, supply chain and program management functions in his new position, Mercury Systems said Thursday.
Couture most recently served as VP of operations and security at Raytheon’s missiles and defense business segment. Prior to Raytheon, he worked at Hawker Beechcraft in program management, engineering and product development leadership roles.
He spent 15 years in the Canadian military as an infantry reserve member.
Mark Aslett, CEO of Mercury Systems and a previous Wash100 awardee, said Couture will bring his industry experience as the company aims to deliver mission-critical products to customers.
