Salient CRGT, a wholly owned subsidiary of GovCIO, will provide information technology services, applications, collaboration and communication tools and end-user devices to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under a seven-year, $524 million task order, according to an announcement by GovCIO.
The order, awarded through the General Services Administration’s Alliant 2 governmentwide acquisition contract, seeks to meet EPA’s Enterprise Support Services and Endpoint Technology (ESSET) requirement, GovCIO said.
“We are honored to collaborate with the EPA for the next 7 years and to support the EPA in the critical functions it performs for the IT environment,” said GovCIO CEO Jim Brabston.
GovCIO will provide virtual and on-site services for 8,500 mobile devices, 20,000 deployed laptops and desktops and other endpoint devices, as well as, user experience and service desk support at EPA’s headquarters, laboratories, and regional offices across the country.
“We are so excited to partner with the EPA providing innovation in delivering the next generation of end user support for its critical mission,” said Rebecca Miller, GovCIO Sector President, Health and Civilian Services.
In January, GovCIO, formerly GovernmentCIO, launched a rebranding effort to mark the company’s expansion in the federal market and reflect its additional IT service offerings after acquiring Salient CRGT in August 2021.
