The Department of Homeland Security and the General Services Administration have extended the deadlines for solicitation responses to two separate information technology contracts reserved for small businesses.
DHS posted a notice Thursday on SAM.gov to inform vendors of a 14-day extension and they can submit second phase bids for FirstSource III contract through Sept. 7.
First announced in April 2021, the latest FirstSource iteration covers IT hardware and software as well as value-added reseller and managed services.
Separately, the General Services Administration pushed back again the proposal due date for its Polaris governmentwide acquisition contract and announced Thursday it will continue to accept final bids for the small business and women-owned business pools until Sept. 9
A July notice posted on SAM.gov stated the Polaris bid deadline was moved from Aug. 10 to Aug. 19.
GSA urged bidding teams to let the agency contracting office know if they encounter any technical issues that impact the submission process no later than Friday.
