The Defense Threat Reduction Agency has selected Obsidian Solutions Group, Veteran’s First and RMGS to provide assessments, exercises and modeling and simulation support under a potential $850 million multiple award contract.
The three small businesses were among 18 offerors for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that includes base and option periods and has task orders for AEMSS, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
In a solicitation posted on Sam.gov in January, DTRA expressed the need for AEMSS services in support of its capabilities for countering and addressing weapons of mass destruction risks. The required services overall help the agency perform its mission of strengthening security against chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and high explosive threats.
The contractors will work at different local and international locations, with funding to be awarded depending on each task order.
DTRA’s Nuclear Enterprise Contracting Office awarded the competitively procured IDIQ.
