Tetra Tech (Nasdaq: TTEK) has acquired process automation and systems integration company The Integration Group of Americas for an undisclosed sum in a push to expand its digital water and energy practices.
Tetra Tech said Thursday its government services group will absorb TIGA and the acquired entity’s personnel who specialize in software engineering, digital automation and data analytics consulting.
TIGA, led by John Miller, offers software and platform as-a-service applications, virtualization and cloud data integration tools.
Dan Batrack, chairman and CEO of Tetra Tech, said the company made the acquisition to grow its digital consulting and platform service offerings for the water, environmental and energy sectors.
The Pasadena, California-based company employs more than 20,000 associates worldwide and applies its “Leading with Science” framework to support customers in renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure and international development efforts.
