Travis Chester, a finance executive with 25 years of industry experience, has been appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer at Cubic.
He will report to Stevan Slijepcevic, president and CEO of Cubic and a 2022 Wash100 Award recipient, and be responsible for driving the company’s financial strategy, the defense technology provider said Monday.
Chester most recently served as senior managing director at Pretium Partners and previously held key financial leadership positions at General Electric (NYSE: GE), Honeywell (NYSE: HON), Vixxo and Life Technologies.
San Diego-headquartered Cubic has worked to strengthen its executive leadership team after it was acquired by Veritas Capital and Evergreen Coast Capital in May 2021 for approximately $3 billion.
