Hensel Phelps Construction Co. has won a potential $531.7 million contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to build flightline area facilities at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida.
The 11-facility construction project includes detection and protection features, site improvements and security enhancements, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
USACE received three bids for the firm-fixed-price contract via the internet and estimated that the project will conclude by Jan. 19, 2026.
The agency used military construction funds for fiscal years 2019 and 2020 on the award.
