Former FBI Section Chief Dan Odom Named to Guidehouse’s National Security Segment

Dan Odom has joined the national security segment of Guidehouse as a senior strategic adviser following a more than two-decade stint at the FBI, where he most recently served as section chief.

The consulting services provider said Wednesday Odom will assist clients in technology development and application to mitigate cybersecurity and national security threats.

He brings to his new role experience in serving at the law enforcement bureau since 1999, previously working as chief of the FBI Technology and Data Innovation Section that supports its counterterrorism investigations.

John Saad, Guidehouse partner and NSS lead, underscored Odom’s FBI career and national security landscape knowledge.

Odom will perform his new responsibilities from Guidehouse’s Huntsville, Alabama, office that is focused on predictive analytics, data science, cybersecurity and other support missions.
