Robert Samuels, an investment and financial analysis professional with two decades of Wall Street experience, has been appointed as the first vice president of investor relations and corporate communications at Comtech Telecommunications (Nasdaq: CMTL).
Michael Porcelain, president and CEO of Comtech, said in a statement published Monday that Samuels will be responsible for helping the company evaluate measures for non-GAAP and potential new segment reporting as well as launch new social media initiatives.
“[We] want to increase engagement around our transformation with the entire financial community. Having a seasoned investment professional like Robert on our team strengthens our ability to tell Comtech’s compelling story and elevate our brand,” shared Porcelain.
Samuels recently served as an executive director at UBS Global Wealth Management and previously held leadership roles at WJB Capital Group, Oppenheimer & Co., JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM), Bear Stearns & Co. and Bank of America (NYSE: BAC).
