Bob Sogegian, a former executive at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), has been named CEO of SOS International’s Exovera subsidiary.
He succeeded Barbara Stevens, who will continue to serve on Exovera’s executive team as senior executive adviser, SOSi said Wednesday.
Stevens, a 35-year CIA veteran and former chief data officer at the agency, took the helm of Exovera in December 2020.
“Bob has a deep understanding of the legal and policy landscape and its intersection with technology, as it applies to privacy, lawful access, information sharing, and insider threats,” said Julian Setian, president and CEO of SOSi and a two-time Wash100 awardee. “He brings a unique combination of mission intimacy, business acumen, and leadership experience to continue driving innovation in the open-source and communication data markets.”
Sogegian brings to the company over three decades of experience applying technologies to help public and private sector clients meet their business and mission challenges.
He previously served as a vice president and partner at Booz Allen, where he managed the firm’s law enforcement and security portfolio. He also founded and served as managing partner of EverClear Advisors.
Exovera has been providing artificial intelligence-enabled platforms and data analytics tools in support of intelligence, defense, law enforcement and commercial customers since 2012.
