Cameron Chehreh, a technology industry leader, has joined Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) as vice president and general manager of public sector segment.
He will oversee a team of public sector professionals in driving digital transformation in internet of things, cloud, edge computing, artificial intelligence and machine learning, among other areas, in support of the missions of warfighters and civil servants.
“This has been a interesting week of transition so far. I close one great chapter of my career with Dell and I look forward with great anticipation and excitement to join Intel Corporation,” Chehreh said in a LinkedIn post announcing his move.
Chehreh most recently served as vice president and chief technology officer of federal business at Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL), where he was responsible for strategy execution and innovation management for the company’s tech portfolio for defense, intelligence community and civilian government markets.
He held CTO roles within the commercial cyber services and intelligence solutions divisions of General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) information technology arm and at OAO Technology Solutions, which now operates as Pomeroy.
Chehreh also worked at Northrop Grumman’s (NYSE: NOC) IT business as an enterprise solutions architect and acting CTO with a focus on delivering managed IT services, enterprisewide network platforms, program management and consulting support to federal civilian, defense, health care IT and international customers.
