Barry Broadus, a former Dovel Technologies executive with over three decades of financial management experience, will join ICF (Nasdaq: ICFI) by the end of February to serve as its chief financial officer.
He will take over from Bettina Garcia Welsh, who will remain with the company as an adviser until early April to smoothen the leadership transition, the Fairfax, Virginia-headquartered global consulting services provider said Monday.
Broadus brings to ICF experience in overseeing the strategic management, financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, accounting and regulatory compliance of companies such as Alion Science and Technology, Constellis and SRI International.
“He has built an excellent reputation as a financial leader at fast-growing professional services firms that provide consulting and complex technology solutions to a large roster of federal government agency clients,” said John Wasson, chairman and CEO of ICF.
Wasson, a two-time Wash100 Award recipient, also thanked Welsh, the outgoing CFO, for helping strengthen the consulting and digital service provider’s financial capabilities and building its financial team.
