Raytheon Gets $103M Navy Radar Warning Tech Support Contract

Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX) has received a potential five-year, $102.6 million contract to upgrade, replace and repair ALR-67(V)3 radar warning systems installed on the U.S. Navy’s F/A-18 tactical aircraft.

The firm-fixed-price contract also includes inventory, obsolescence and configuration management support services for the radar warning platform, the Department of Defense said Monday.

AN/ALR-67(V)3 is a digital radar warning receiver that works to provide situational awareness capability to fighter pilots. The system can detect emitters in high pulse density and intercept faint distant signals amid interference from nearby transmitters.

Work will occur in California, Florida, Arizona and Mississippi through December 2026.

Naval Supply Systems Command’s Weapon Systems Support has obligated $23.9 million at the time of award using the military branch’s working capital funds.
