Significant leaders from the U.S. Air Force and its industry partners will discuss the information technology modernization initiatives currently driving the Air Force’s digital transformation strategy during a Dec. 15 panel discussion hosted by the Potomac Officers Club.
Jim Huso, enterprise architect for CACI International, will moderate the expert panel conversation focused on how IT modernization efforts will affect the future of the Air Force as the service branch works to better equip its warfighters and strengthen the nation’s digital capabilities as global competition intensifies.
The panelists for the “AF IT Modernization and Digital Transformation Forum” include Dr. Joe Bessleman, program executive officer for command, control, communications, intelligence and networks for the U.S. Air Force; Colonel Justin Collins, senior materiel leader for the enterprise IT and cloud capabilities division at the Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts; Brian Kropa, chief engineer for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/HNI; Chris Painter, vice president and technical director for Peraton’s defense portfolio; and Manish Parikh, chief technology officer for CACI’s business and information technology solutions sector.
The Department of the Air Force’s Deputy CIO, Winston Beauchamp and CTO Jay Bonci will deliver keynote speeches during the virtual event to discuss the role of technologies like artificial intelligence, zero trust security and machine learning in infrastructure modernization across the Department of Defense.
