Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) will deliver repairable spare items for common electronic communication equipment and parts to the U.S. Navy and Japan under a potential $53.9 million award from the Defense Logistics Agency.
The Department of Defense said Friday the firm-fixed-price delivery order was awarded against a seven-year contract for defense logistics spares and will run through March 31, 2024.
Northrop, the sole contractor under the indefinite-delivery contract awarded to the company in September 2018, will conduct work at its Illinois location as part of the most recent 31-month award
DLA’s aviation unit will use the fiscal 2022 Navy aircraft procurement budget and Foreign Military Sales money to fund the delivery order.
