ASRC Federal Subsidiary Wins $226M Contract to Support USSF Rocket Launch Program

An ASRC Federal subsidiary has won a potential nine-year, $225.5 million contract to perform mission assurance support work for a U.S. Space Force program that provides full launch service capability to the Department of Defense and other federal agencies.

ASRC Federal Space & Defense will help the military branch engineer, integrate, verify and validate mission platforms for the Rocket Systems Launch Program, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract also involves planning and analysis of logistics processes for component sustainment, booster assembly and testing, handling and transportation, surveillance and motor refurbishment.

Space Systems Command received three bids for the RSLP MA effort and will obligate $277,414 at the time of award from USSF’s fiscal 2021 research, development, test, and evaluation funds.

The company will perform tasks at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico, through Dec. 31, 2030, if the branch exercises all options.
