An ASRC Federal subsidiary has secured a potential $133 million contract to help a Department of Defense organization secure personnel information systems from cyber threats.
Under the five-year contract, ASRC Federal Netcentric will run a cybersecurity operations hub to support information technology functions at the Defense Human Resources Activity, the company said Tuesday.
The Netcentric team will also help the agency implement tools designed to detect and mitigate threats in real time, respond to cyber incidents and conduct penetration tests.
“The Department of Defense’s human resource systems and databases must be accessible to military personnel and family members 24/7, 365,” said Jennifer Felix, president and CEO of ASRC Federal and a 2021 Wash100 Award recipient.
DHRA is responsible for managing and analyzing data on military and civilian personnel throughout the department.
