AT&T (NYSE: T) has won a potential 10-year, $46.9 million contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency to replace legacy multiplexing-based circuits and provide mission partners access to the Department of Defense Information Network through ethernet connectivity.
DISA received four offers for the single-award Commercial Ethernet Gateway Region 7 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and will use fiscal year 2022 operations and maintenance funds to fund a minimum guarantee of $500, DOD said Wednesday.
The firm-fixed-price IDIQ contract has a six-year base term and a pair of two-year option periods. The performance period could run through Dec. 7, 2031, if all options are exercised.
The company is expected to begin work on Dec. 8 in Oakton, Virginia.
