Thomas Weidley, a 35-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, has been named chief operating officer at aerial delivery and survivability equipment supplier Capewell.
He has led multiple USMC echelons during his military career and brings naval aviation experience to his new position, Capewell said Tuesday.
His military service includes time as commanding general of the Marine Corps Installations – East, president of Marine Corps University and assistant chief of staff for strategy, plans and policy supporting the U.S. Forces in Korea.
South Windsor, Connecticut-based Capewell engineers products intended to help law enforcement, defense and humanitarian agencies perform national security missions.
