Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has received a potential two-year, $86.6 million task order from the U.S. Navy to integrate command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems on military vehicles.
The company will perform C4ISR production, engineering and fielding work for the land systems integration division under Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Ninety-four percent of the services will be carried out in Charleston, South Carolina, and the rest in various locations that include New Mexico, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
The sole-source award covers a 12-month base period along with a pair of six-month option periods.
Obligated funds amounting to nearly $11.8 million will come from fiscal 2021 Army, Marine Corps other procurement; and fiscal 2022 Air Force operation and maintenance funds, DOD noted.
