Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has received a potential five-year, $531 million task order to provide operational support to the Air Combat Command’s intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance program.
The company said Monday it will help command personnel mitigate potential threats to ISR operations and conduct analysis, assessment and training efforts as part of the order from ACC’s Acquisition Management and Integration Center.
Work will take place at more than 25 locations within the continental U.S.
Gerry Fasano, president of Leidos’ defense group and a 2021 Wash100 winner, said the company intends to apply its 33-year intelligence experience to support the ACC ISR mission.
“Combating global threats requires our armed forces to possess and constantly obtain critical knowledge of the strategic, operational and tactical environments,” Fasano added.
