Cognosante has received a potential five-year, $70 million contract from the Social Security Administration to help SSA manage the Ticket to Work program.
Falls Church, Virginia-based Cognosante said Thursday it will provide contact center operations, quality assurance, community outreach and training, claims processing, employment network recruiting support and related services under the Ticket Program Manager contract to help connect SSA to beneficiaries and providers.
“Together with our partners and our J.Lodge subsidiary, we are honored to support the SSA’s mission, applying our expertise and passion to help create employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities,” said James Gordon, president of Cognosante.
Gordon added that the Ticket to Work program seeks to help beneficiaries become employed and achieve financial independence.
Cognosante said the contract has a one-year base term and four option years and will enable SSA to carry out its mission to help people with disabilities rejoin the workforce and comply with the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act of 1999.
