The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is looking for small businesses that could develop courseware for contact center workers tasked with assisting beneficiaries of federal health care programs.
Interested vendors have until Nov. 19 to submit proposals for the CMC Contact Center Training and Content contract opportunity, the agency said in a SAM notice posted Tuesday.
CMS seeks course materials intended to educate customer service representatives at multichannel contact centers.
The contract will have a one-year base period of performance, followed by four one-year option periods.
The agency noted that its 1-800 hotline for Medicare and Marketplace services processed 42 million calls during 2019.
