A business unit of Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has received a $99.99 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to help the U.S. Air Force sustain radio frequency threat simulators.
Amherst Systems will perform sustaining engineering work on Test Facilities Threat Simulators that support the service branch’s electronic warfare mission through the sole-source award.
The Buffalo, New York-based business received a $530, 744 initial task order under the sole-source IDIQ award to maintain the 36th Electronic Warfare Squadron’s simulation platforms.
DOD noted that the branch is obligating $526, 749 at the time of award and expects contract services to be complete by Sept. 30, 2031.
