A joint venture between General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology unit and Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX) will help the U.S. Space Force maintain launch and test range systems under a three-year, $125.1 million contract modification awarded by Space Systems Command.
Range Generation Next will continue to provide testing equipment operations, maintenance and sustainment services to Vandenberg Space Force Base in California and Patrick Space Force Base in Florida through Sept. 30, 2024, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The branch did not obligate funds at the time of award and DOD noted that the modification represents the seventh option period of RGNext’s contract.
