A Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) subsidiary has been awarded a $94.88 million contract to manufacture lot 10 Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile systems for the U.S. Navy and foreign military sales customers.
Alliant Techsystems Operations, which operates under Northrop’s defense systems sector, will convert 87 AGM-88B High Speed Anti-Radiation Missiles from the U.S. government and 40 HARMs from the German air force into the AGM-88E AARGM configuration, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Work will also include support for the deployment of updated tactical air-to-surface missiles to F/A-18 aircraft variants and the EA-18G carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft platform.
Naval Air Systems Command expects contract services to be complete in March 2024.
