Lloyd McCoy, former manager of the public sector market intelligence team at immixGroup, has been appointed director of market intelligence at DLT Solutions’ Office of the Chief Technology Officer.
He will lead the company’s market intelligence strategies for assessing markets, identifying new business opportunities for technology providers and partners, and developing intelligence assets for sales and marketing functions, DLT said Wednesday.
McCoy spent almost nine years at immixGroup, where he helped channel and technology partners craft sales strategies through a research-based approach.
From 2004 to 2012, he worked for the intelligence community in senior analytic and management roles locally and internationally.
He is also president of the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association’s Northern Virginia chapter.
“McCoy brings a wealth of experience analyzing the public sector landscape, aggregating market intelligence insights and unearthing opportunities that channel and technology companies have leveraged to drive growth in this niche and hard to navigate segment of the IT industry,” said David Blankenhorn, chief technology officer of DLT.
Herndon, Virginia-based DLT operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Tech Data (Nasdaq: TECD) and provides government customers access to its network of technology partners.
