Planned Systems International has purchased Alexandria, Virginia-based technology integrator ProSphere Tech in a deal of an undisclosed sum that expands PSI’s health care information technology and cybersecurity offerings for the government sector.
Founded in 2006, ProSphere works with federal customers to help them design systems, manage data centers and transition enterprise services to public cloud infrastructure, PSI said Thursday.
PSI CEO Terry Lin noted that the deal serves as “an important building block to both organizations, offering access to strategic customers and contract vehicles as we continue to deliver digital transformation.”
He added that the two companies have a shared commitment to helping clients improve the delivery of health care services to U.S. military veterans.
ProSphere holds prime positions on large contracting vehicles such as the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology-Next Generation, the National Institutes of Health’s Chief Information Officer–Solutions and Partners 3 and the U.S. Army’s Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services.
