Tom Vice, a three-decade veteran of Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), has been appointed CEO of Sierra Nevada Corp.‘s subsidiary that focuses on building space platforms for both the government and commercial sectors.
He joins Sierra Space as the company aims to launch the Dream Chaser spaceplane on its first cargo delivery mission to the International Space Station in 2022 as part of NASA’s Commercial Resupply Service 2 program, SNC said Monday.
Vice most recently served as chairman, president and CEO of supersonic aircraft manufacturing company Aerion.
