Ensco has elevated company veterans Kevin Pruett and Jeffrey Stevens to senior vice president roles following the creation of two new business groups focused on supporting aerospace and engineering and surface transportation initiatives of government, commercial and international customers.
Boris Nejikovsky, president of Ensco, said in a statement published Tuesday the promotions and business consolidation efforts were aimed at attracting new customers and pursuing additional business opportunities amid evolving market conditions.
Pruett was appointed as senior VP of the Ensco Aerospace and Engineering Group, which was formed by consolidating the aerospace sciences and engineering division and the Avionics subsidiary. Prior to his promotion, he served as VP of the said unit for over 17 years.
The executive will now be responsible for leading AEG as it competes in the aerospace market and support public and private sectors.
Meanwhile, Stevens will oversee the new Ensco Surface Transportation Group as its senior VP. He will drive STG’s efforts in expanding the company’s railway business and branching out to other surface transportation methods.
Stevens has a two-decade career with Ensco and is the former VP of its applied technology and engineering division and two rail subsidiaries, which were all combined with the railway technology unit to create STG.
âUnder Kevinâs leadership, the new Aerospace and Engineering Group will focus on bringing systems engineering, architecture, software, cybersecurity and IV&V solutions to the government and commercial aerospace markets,â said Nejikovsky. “Jeffâs leadership will allow ENSCO to continue our support of government, commercial and international rail customers and to successfully pursue opportunities in the broader surface transportation market.â
