Valiant Buys ATS to Grow Government Logistics Support Work; Dan Corbett Quoted

Valiant Integrated Services has acquired Norfolk, Virginia-based Alliance Technical Services for an undisclosed sum in a move to expand logistics support work in the government sector.

Valiant said Thursday it also looks to grow its customer base in the missile launch refurbishment and modernization segments through the acquisition.

Dan Corbett, CEO of Valiant, noted that the combined company seeks to identify new growth opportunities and increase its presence across several markets.

Global advisory services firm The Chertoff Group acted as ATS’ adviser on the transaction.

Herndon, Virginia-headquartered Valiant won a potential $555 million contract to provide operational readiness training for  U.S. Army National Guard units under the eXportable Combat Training Capability program.
