T-Rex Solutions has appointed Nancy Norton, a retired U.S. Navy vice admiral and former director of the Defense Information Systems Agency, to the company’s national security board of advisers.
The 34-year Navy veteran will be among the board members who advise T-Rex leadership on the development of information technology offerings for the defense and intelligence sectors, the IT services provider said Monday.
She concurrently led DISA and the Joint Force Headquarters-Department of Defense Information Network before she retired from the military in February.
“Norton’s unparalleled expertise at the intersection of national security and information technology will help us grow and mature our approach to IT modernization and cybersecurity,” said Dab Kern, executive vice president of T-Rex’s national security programs.
Her appointment comes as the Greenbelt, Maryland-based company works to help government customers update IT platforms and address cyber risks.
