The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has selected five companies to compete for new construction task orders through a $950 million firm-fixed-price contract vehicle.
The Department of Defense said Wednesday the awardees are BL Harbert International, the Archer Western Federal joint venture, Hensel Phelps Construction, JE Dunn Construction and Turner Construction.
Contractors will be tasked with building structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, utility, fire protection and heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, instrumentation and security and safety areas.
Twenty-eight bids were submitted to USACE for the firm-fixed-price contract via an online solicitation process and the agency will determine funds and work locations upon issuance of individual orders.
The Pentagon expects contract services to finish by June 22, 2026.
