ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) has secured a potential five-year, $61 million contract to help the Department of Defense engineer and support systems intended for irregular warfare operations.
Work under the contract will include program management, analytical, administrative and operational work for the irregular warfare technical support directorate within DOD, the company said Thursday.
Andrew Twomey, executive vice president and general manager of ManTechâs defense sector, said the company has supported the IWTSD mission since 2007.
âWe are supporting this important mission with cutting-edge technologies and capabilities that help ensure success in combating terrorism,â Twomey added.
IWTSD, formerly called Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office, aims to develop platforms for DOD and its international partners to defend against adversaries.
The contract has one base year and four option years.
