Bruce Caswell, president and CEO of Maximus, received his 2021 Wash100 Award, the third consecutive year that Caswell has received the most prestigious award in all of government contracting (GovCon), during a visit from Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson on Wednesday.
“Maximus has continued to grow topline at nearly 16 percent and benefited from Bruce Caswell‘s energetic leadership style, laser focus and commitment to help our nation fight the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Garrettson. “Bruce has dramatically increased the pipeline of new revenue opportunities while leading his organization to respond quickly to the urgency of the market.”
For his third consecutive Wash100 win, Executive Mosaic has recognized Caswell for his leadership and reliability to position Maximus in the federal sector as a leading health and human services provider for public sector agencies responding to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
“Every day, our goal at Maximus is to help citizens connect to the vital services they need from government agencies,” said Caswell following a recent contract award win with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).
“The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a multitude of issues for Americans…Our work with states is focused on ensuring these citizens quickly get access to the benefits they deserve and drastically cutting down on the backlog of unanswered claims,” he added.
ExecutiveBiz spoke with Caswell in late 2020 for an Executive Spotlight providing an in-depth conversation on Maximus’ business model, technology investments and market expansion push.
“I’m very proud of the progress we’ve made in the last nine years, including growing our federal business from about $90 million to about $1.4 billion over that time, ” said Caswell. “We’d like to continue to expand in the federal marketplace, especially within technology and helping our customers solve more complicated challenges with advanced technologies.”
Executive Mosaic is thrilled to present the most coveted award in all of GovCon to Caswell for the third consecutive year, which demonstrates his continued commitment to our community and the elite level of success that the Wash100 Award was created to recognize every year.
Executive Mosaic recently announced that Dr. Stacey Dixon, deputy director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), had received the most votes from the GovCon community in the eight-year history of the Wash100 Award.
