Mayvin Wins $95M SOCOM Weapon R&D Support Contract

Mayvin, a woman-owned small business, has won a potential $95 million hybrid contract to research and develop military weapons for the U.S. Special Operations Command.

The Annandale, Virginia-based company will also provide acquisition and sustainment support services to SOCOM personnel as part of the cost-no-fee and firm-fixed-price award, the Department of Defense said Monday.

Army Contracting Command received four bids for the contract and will determine performance locations and funds upon issuance of each order.

DOD expects the company to complete services by June 6, 2026.

Mayvin offers technical and professional services to the government sector in areas such as systems engineering, mission support, intelligence and training.
