Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is required for any potential government contractor to win contracts from the Department of Defense (DOD). The federal government requires cybersecurity certification to protect crucial information technology (IT) assets against hacking from hostile actors and mismanagement due to poor IT system practices.
During Potomac Officers Club’s (POC) 2021 CMMC Forum, notable private and public sector executives will discuss the latest updates, requirements and questions regarding Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification.
The Forum will host an expert panel moderated by Michael Baker of General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), featuring Karlton Johnson of the CMMC Accreditation Body, Ron Lear of ISACA-CMMI Institute, Jeffery Miller of Accenture Federal Service and Armando Seay of Maryland Innovation and Security Institute.
