Peder Jungck, vice president and general manager of the intelligence solutions business area at BAE Systems‘ U.S. subsidiary, will deliver a keynote speaker introduction at an upcoming GovCon Wire event about artificial intelligence trends in the national security sector.
Jungck will introduce Katrina McFarland, a commissioner at the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence, during the AI: Innovation in National Security Forum on June 3.
He joined BAE Systems Inc. in 2013 as chief technology officer of its intelligence and security sector. Previously, he worked at Science Applications International Corp. as senior VP and CTO for SAIC’s cybersecurity business group. He established and led CloudShield Technologies, which provided infrastructure security support to government customers, and is president of the Information Technology – Information Sharing and Analysis Center.
