Insight Public Sector has won a potential five-year, $2.56 billion blanket purchase agreement from the U.S. Navy to provide software licenses and information technology products and services.
The Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific in San Diego received two offers for the single-award BPA that was awarded through the Department of Defense’s Enterprise Software Initiative, which seeks to streamline the process of software licensing acquisition and provide IT platforms that are compliant with DOD’s technical standards, DOD said Friday.
Under the DOD Enterprise Software Agreement, the company will provide software assurance, user-based subscription and commercially available perpetual licenses including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure and client access licenses. DOD and the U.S. Coast Guard can also use the agreement provided that they are allowed under the provisions of 14 U.S. Code Section 3 and Section 145, 31 U.S. Code Section 1535 and 10 U.S. Code Section 2571.
The ordering period will run through May 31, 2026, and the Navy will obligate funds upon award of delivery orders using DOD’s operations and maintenance funds.
